CVC Residential Rescue
Saving neighborhoods stricken
by foreclosure property neglect.

In the protection of property values, CVC is also working through its Residential Rescue program to mitigate neighborhood blight resulting from abandoned homes and neglected residential foreclosure properties.

Residential Rescue saves plants and trees at homes where water service has been terminated because of abandonment or foreclosure. With a team of volunteers and portable water delivery, CVC maintains a regular schedule of watering to prevent plants and trees from dying and causing blight in otherwise healthy neighborhoods.

 STOP GREEN PATH NORTH

LADWP Top Executive David Nahi Resigns

Nahai had served two years as a DWP commissioner before Villaraigosa elevated him to the post of chief executive and general manager in 2007. Ever since, he had been under fire from an array of forces. Story Here

If you don't recognize those hills behind our homes in the picture above, it's because they are adorned with 220 foot tall power lines. Those power lines are not there yet. But they will be if the Los Angeles Department or Water and Power gets its way. The Coachella Valley Coalition is working to keep those power lines off our hills. But we won't save those hills and our property values without you. To stop them, you need to get involved...NOW!

The proposed power line path starts in North Palm Springs at a new sub-station LADWP plans to build. It travels north east of Highway 62 through Desert Hot Springs then crosses Indian Avenue. There it then takes a sharp right to traverse the hills behind Desert Hot Springs in clear view of the residential neighborhoods of Mountain View, Mission Lakes, Paradise Springs, Sunset Springs and Rancho Del Oro. It then takes a left over the hills and through the Morongo Basin and the communities of  Yucca Valley, Pioneer Town, Landers and on to Hesperia where it is planned to connect to power lines to Los Angeles.

LADWP carries a lot of political weight. The only way to stop its power line plan is with unified voices. That's you!

That's where you come in! Don't stay quiet. Get involved. Use your voice to save our pristine hills, the scenic views they offer and your property values.

Property Values Have Been Hit Hard Enough!
Homeowners already suffering huge loss of property values have no more to give. We will not allow power lines to rob us of our homes and further erode their value. LADWP profits will NOT come at our expense!
